I love to play pool, but had never heard of "3 Ball".  The game is played with only three object balls, but it looks like a lot of fun.  Instead of trying to just pocket the pool balls, the players have to do so in as few shots as possible.  The game is played in innings with each player taking their turn.  It's quite interesting and I can't wait to play it myself.  I hope you all consider playing 3 Ball the next time you start a game with your friends.

I found a new website that's focused on pool; and it's great!  My favorite feature on the site is the room size calculator.  If you are not sure that your room will be big enough to fit the pool table you plan on buying, this chart is very helpful.  It lists the different sizes of pool tables (snooker tables included) and gives you the minimum size room you should have to fit the table comfortably.  I found this very useful and hope that you will too.
